President Hassan meets Egypt and Jordan leaders over Somali issues
The president federal government of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamud held talks with a number of Arab leaders who arrived in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el Sheikh to take part in the 26th meeting of the Arab summit on Saturday and Sunday.
President Hassan met with the president of Egypt in Sharm el Sheikh town and the president reviewed the latest developments in the nation, stressing that Somali authorities are controlling all Somali lands.
Sisi asserted that Egypt is ready to support the Somali government in efforts aiming at achieving security and stability.
The president also discussed with King of Jordan His Majesty King Abdullah II about wide range issues including security, the relations of the countries and others.
The fight against terrorism was also figured high on the meeting, with the King emphasizing that a collective effort is needed to confront terror and extremist gangs, in which a comprehensive strategy needs to be adopted to stand against all forms of violence and extremism.
