Gov’t holds emergency security meeting in Makka Al-Mukarrama hotel

A security meeting was held in Makka Al-Mukarrama hotel where Alshabab fighters attacked two days ago and killed innocent people.
The meeting which was chairing by Security minister, Abdirisaq Omar Mohamed was attended by the commander of National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA), Abdirahman Tuuryare, clerics and members of civil society
Shiekh Noor Baaruud Gurxan speaking at the meeting said that there is no single verse in our Qu’ran that allows killing innocent Muslim people and that religion strongly rejects the ideology of blowing one’s self up.
The deputy chairlady of National Women Association, Anab Hassan who also spoke at meeting, urged the security forces to double their efforts and deal with criminals.
“The security forces have to take measures to minimize Al-Shabab attacks in city and the whole country, they should respond quickly if something goes wrong” Anab said.
Finally, the security minister said that Al-Shabab fighters are not only against the government but they also want to uproot Somali people totally.
He urged the public to work with the security forces as to take measures to prevent any imminent attacks.
