Somalia: foreign minister receives acting Qatarian ambassador in his office
Foreign affairs minister of federal government of Somalia Abdirahman Duale Beilah received in his office the acting ambassador of Qatarian Dr. Hassan Hamza who arrived Mogadishu on Friday.
In a special meeting the two officials discussed wide range issues including, opening Qatari embassy in Mogadishu and reviving the diplomatic ties between the two nations that has been missing for more than two decades.
The acting ambassador Hassan Hamza said that he is happy to come to Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia for the first time representing his country and promised to strengthen the relations and support to the federal government.
Over ten countries in Europe, Asia and Africa re-opened their embassies in Mogadishu after more than two decades of civil war.
