Government forces in Baidoa besiege ADC building

Federal government forces in Baidoa have besieged ADC building , the headquarters of transitional federal government led by Abullahi Yussuf which is now a base for South Somalia- six regions.

Traditional elders and senior officials of South West Somalia administration who feel their administration is constitutional are inside the building.

The forces ordered the officials and the elders inside ADC to vacate the building or face dire consequences but the officials in the building gave a deaf ear.

There is fear of fresh confrontation between government forces and militia loyal to Madobe Nunow.

The recently appointed technical committee by federal government assigned to form the administration of South West three regional state have been in the town the last few days.
