MP Godah Barri: Hiiran Residents Decides to have their own state

The former interior minister and the current Federal Mp, Godah Barri said that elders and politicians from the Hiiran region have decided to establish a new independent state . The Mp, speaking to Goobjoog news on Tuesday characterized the state building conference in Jowhar  a “Deception” meant to take the rights of people from Hiiran region.

“We are Proud that elders, politicians, people from business and youth attended this meeting today to express their desire to have their independent state”  he added “  The conference in Jowhar is merely meant to take the seat of other people by deception” . The MP also said that to build a system comes from the desire and consent of people from these two regions not the interests of other people [Federal Government]. Said the Godah.

Meanwhile, a number of Politicians and elders in Beladwene warned on Tuesday that unilateral formation of state could lead the region to instability. The statement comes amid preparations to announce the establishment of new state in the region.
