Southwest State Official Assassinated in Marka

Hussien Mohammed- a deputy director of Marka local government’s planning and reconstruction office killed in Marka.

Armed men with Pistols shot him dead in center of the city as the assailants managed to escape.

The administration of Marka, the provincial headquarter of Lowers Shebelle has blamed  Al-shabab for assassination.

Southwest state security forces have launched searches which netted the number of people for death of officer.

The deceased was recently appointed to the post as effort to replace the old administration after increasing security gaffs.

Tribal fights and Alshabab threats deteriorated the security of Marka town.
