Government forces and AMISOM arrest dozens in Bulo-Burte after mortar shelling

Federal government forces and African Union peace-keeping have launched massive security operations in Bulo-Burte district of Hiran region earlier toda.

Unspecified number of suspects were arrested by the allied forces during the dawn security crackdown in the district as Bulo-Burte district commissioner Osman Gedi Elmi confirmed to Goobjoog FM.

The operation follows series of mortar rounds attacked with the bases of government forces and African Union peace-keeping troops in the area.

Bulo-Burte is one of the districts captured by the joint forces after offensive military operations against Al-shabab were launched.
