Prime minster Omar meets with UAE ambassador to Somalia

The prime minister of Somalia Omar Abdirashid received the ambassador of UAE to Somalia Mohammed Ahmed Othman Al Hammadi at his office in Mogadishu on Monday.
The two discussed wide range issues including the security, the reconstruction of the country, re-establishment of the government departments and the eradication of Somali pirates and how UAE could lend a hand to Somalia.
“The relationship between Somalia and UAE aged one and UAE’s generosity towards Somali people has been existing in the country for long time and they are now ready to support the nation in the reconstruction processes” prime mister Omar said.

On the other hand the ambassador of UAE to Somalia stated that they would support Somalia till it bounces back to its feet strongly.
This comes at a time when Prime minster Omar Abdirashid had been having meeting nowadays with some of the world ambassadors such US, UK, China, Sweden, special envoys of UN and AU to Somalia.
