A boat carrying government soldiers sink at the coast of Marka

Reports from Lower Shabelle region indicates that government troops and their weapons are missing after they boarded a boat on the coast.

The troops left Mogadishu to Marko who was part of the October 14th Battalion of the Armed Forces, accompanied by the commander of the army capsized their boat during a maritime voyage.

Military officials said the soldiers wanted to sail to Marka but the boat was turned off through their way.

Most of the crew were rescued including the commander of the armed forces Captain Osman Muse while others are still missing at sea with the boat capsized.

Reports indicate that the incident took place last night and to date, efforts are underway to search for missing soldiers and weapons.

Al -Shabab has blocked all the roads of Marko town and that why government troops are using boats to rich their destination safely.
