Abdi Awale Qeybdid “I Am Ready To Handover The Reign to Galmudug New Leadership”

Formed Galmudug State president Abdi Hassan Awale Qeybdid has vowed to hand over power to the newly elected president of Galmudug Abdikarin Hussein Guled .

Awale was the president of informal local administration of Galmudug for the past three years before federal government convened state formation conference in Adado which brought together all communities in central regions who were outside of Qeybdid’s administration.

Now Galmudug is renewed and gained new legitimacy and mandate with formal recognition from Federal government as a full-fledged federal state.

Qeybdid has also promised to handover offices and presimises his administration has built.

The newly elected president has on his side quoted as saying that he would accommodate his challengers in the presidential vote, this includes Awale.
