Adan Barre Duale calls on Somali-Kenyans to collaborate with security agencies

The MP of Dujis Constituency in Garissa County who is also Kenyan National assembly majority leader, Adan Barre Duaale has called on Somali-Kenyans to give hand and provide public intelligence to security forces in the country to cope threats from Al-Shabab.

The MP has specifically called Eastleigh residents to feel that they are responsible for securtiy of thier business and constituencey.

“You somali people in this country have obligation to work with government, without security there will be no businessess, no prayer to be attended , your childeren won’t get a school to go, all of us need peace, security, you should feel that responsliblity and give much attenstion on the security of this district” he said.

The MP praised the business sprit of somalis in Eastleigh saying that a large sum of tax is raised from the district “Eastleigh is recognized to be one of biggest tax paying constituencies in the country , we know that very well”.

Kenyan security forces has conducted a number of crackdowns and security operation in the distirct in recent years in bid to stop security threats from Alshabab miltants who continue thier fight against kenya.
