Ahmed Madobe’s trip to Kenya

The president of the Jubbaland state, Ahmed Madobe and his delegation led by the president departed to Nairobi on Sunday morning.

Ahmed Madobe and his delegation were received at the airport by some of his Cabinet ministers, military officials and other members of Jubbaland.

Sources indicate the aim of Madobe’s journey to Kenya concerned in resolving disputes in Gedo region, where he will meet with Somali people and Kenya government officials.

The president of Jubbaland has taken a private jet from Kismayo to Nairobi, which has again violated the Federal Government’s recently ban local directive flights to Nairobi after the ministry of civil aviation officially announced all international flight should departure from Aden Ade international airport in Mogadishu.

However, it is the first trip Ahmed Madobe to Nairobi since he was re-elected as a president of the Jubbaland state.
