AMISOM and Jubbaland forces with Al-Shabab fighters in Bardhere

Jubbaland forces backed by AMISOM troops clashed with Al-Shabab fighters over night. There is no immediate casualty reported from the fight.

The fight started when Al-Shabab fighters stormed allied military bases with motor fires followed live combat using machine guns and hand grenades, sources told Goobjoog News.

The residents say sound of heavy artillery used by both sides was heard all over the town and its environs.

Al-Shabab fighters, who want to topple internationally recognized Somali government, have sped up their attacks on SNA and AMISOM military bases in different parts of the country.
