AMISOM forces from Ethiopia allegedly kill civilians in Galgadud

AMISOM forces from Ethiopia have allegedly killed 4 civilians in Elbur district, Galgadud region according to elders in the area.

Elder Ali Farah Kheyre who contacted Goobjoog News said that the soldiers shot died four men, among them were Koranic teachers and local Imams in the area.

He also claimed that 11 more residents were arrested by the troops who have taken over Elbur from Alshabab control.

“The Ethiopians has killed 4 residents, including two local Imams, they raided the area earlier in the morning and we don’t know the motive behind this” said Ali.

Goobjoog News couldn’t solicit comments from Elbur government administration despite our sustained calls to the district officials.

Similar allegation has surfaced before only to be denied by AMISOM.
