An Attack on Kenyan Soldiers Results Injuries

A Kenyan military convoy was attacked with a landmine in Tarako location in Bardera District of Gedo region.

An explosion from a land mine on one of the trucks resulted casualties.

People nearby the town where the attack occurred said they have seen two Kenyan soldiers with injuries.

It is believed the convoy was heading to Bardera town.

Alshabab claimed responsibility for the attack through their website and claims to have killed two Kenyan soldiers in the explosion.

Kenyan security officials in Gedo region did not speak about the above incident.
