Baidoa: Press Release on the meeting of National Youth Policies
A meeting entitled National Policies of the Somali Youth took place in Baidoa town attended by the Federal Minister for Youth Khadijo Mohamed Diriye as well as the Regional Ministers for Sports.
This particular meeting comes after the national meeting that was held early May 2017 in Mogadishu that was also attended by representatives from the regional governments.
Youths from Baidoa town has been invited to the meeting to represent their counterparts in Southwest State.
The aim of this meeting was to formulate the National Policies of the Somali youths.
After the end of the meeting, a Press Release was read to the media by the General Director of the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Hassan:
This meeting follows one that already took place in Mogadishu. The Press Release is as follows:-
- With reference to the meeting on consultation on the 7th May 2017 between the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sport and regional governments.
- It was agreed upon to extend further on the current state of affairs in order to finalize the remaining steps.
- It was understood together to implement prompt action on the issues of the youth and sports.
