Ban Ki Moon due to meet Abass in Doha

As Israel offensive operation in Gaza is intensifying  minute after minute  UN secretary general is expected to meet Palestinian leader Mohamud Abass in Qatar.

According to UN statement their meeting will focus on speeding up cease fire deal Israel and Hamas.

Abbas was also due to meet Hamas chief Khaled Meshaal in Qatar to discuss an Egyptian-proposed cease fire in Cairo.

The government of Egypt has called the two sides to assume a cease fire deal, the foreign minister Mr. Sameh said they will propose the sides to accept the call.

“It meets the needs of both sides,” he said. “We will continue to propose it. We hope both sides accept it.”

The death toll in Gaza town  reach 70 people after Israeli fighter jets shelling has been going on in the city since yester night.
