Banadir Administration Speaks on the Ongoing Construction of 30 Road

The construction of the 30 Road in Hodan District in Banadir region is going smoothly one week after it was started according the Banadir Administration.

Speaking to Goobjoog News the Commissioner of Hodan location Mohamed Ahmed Antobo mentioned the importance this particular road has for the local residents in the area.

Even though the road is going to pass several locations in Banadir region but construction is currently ongoing between the four corners of Al-Baraka and the Milk Company in Hodan location.

“Many people thought it was only groundbreaking ceremony but work is underway. The pedestrians walk is already built and it is a joint collaboration between the regional administration and Somali business people. We expect the resumption of glitter and trade known for this location” said Commissioner Antobo.

The duration of the entire construction of the road 30 will take six months because it is a two-way traffic which is 5.5km long though both sides will measure a total 11km as indicated by the contracted company known as Kulmiye Construction Company.

Roadside business owners along 30 Road believe the construction will change dramatically the façade of the street impacting positively on their trade.

It was last week when the groundbreaking ceremony was done jointly by the Somali PM Kheyre and the Governor of Banadir Tabit Abdi.

This development in the city is one of the achievements carried out by the Federal Government within the first 100 days in office.
