The rival militia of Bare Hirale in the outskirts of Kismayo announced that they will attack the port city under the control Interim Juba administration in few days time.

A spokesman for the militia Abdirashid Moalim Gaas told the media that they will continue their fight against Juba administration until Kismayo would be under their control.

“ we will continue fighting Madobe’s administration until we take over Kismayo” the spokesman said.

On the other hand the spokesman accused Kenyan troops in Lower Juba of killing and raping civilians in the town than keeping the overall security of the region.

“ Kenyan has violated its mandate of peace-keeping by backing an excessive administration”

The federal government of Somalia recognized the interim Juba administration led by Ahmed Madobe August last year and severally held reconciliation conferences to end hostilities between Juba administration and rival groups but in a vain.

PM Abdiweli’s visit to Kismayo on mid April this year was heavily criticized by the rival leader Bare Hirale adding that his visit will not bring any change.
