Bihi declares 3 months state of emergency in three regions in Somaliland

Somaliland president Muse Bihi has declared a state of emergency for three months following heightened tension among clans.

The affected areas are Erigavo, El-Afweyn and Gar-adag.

In a decree Tuesday, Bihi said security forces will work round the clock to ensure peace and security. There has been tension among communities living in the affected areas.
