Storyline:National News

Reports from Yemen indicate that a boat carrying over 500 Somali refugees sailed from Yemen on Monday.
The boat which set off from Mukalla Port is expected to dock at Bassaso port soon.
These Somalis were trapped in Yemen violence where they have been residing since the government of late Mohamed Siyad Barre toppled by rebellions.
It was 30th April when a boat carrying Yemenis refugees docked at the port of Berbera town which lies some 1,600 km northwest of the capital Mogadishu which is controlled by the breakaway administration of Somaliland.
Hundreds of thousands of Somalis fleeing civil war in Somalia crossed to Yemen over the past twenty five years.
Since 1st April, 2423 of Somali refugees started to return home by themselves with small boats. They accused the government of ‘’failing’’ to intervene the situation of the trapped citizens.
