Breaking News: Fighting between Puntland forces and Al-Shabab erupts in Dabakarale village

Fighting between Puntland forces and militants linked to radical Islamist group al-Shabab erupted in Dabakarale village 18km east of Gara’ad Sunday early morning.

Puntland forces launched an operation against the militants after learning that they were gathering around the area and regrouping themselves.

The move comes less than a day after Puntland said that it has concluded anti Al Shabaab operations in the village of Suuj village.
