Breaking News:The no confidence motion against PM Abdiweli succeeds

The federal parliament of Somalia has today fired PM Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed in an extra-ordinary meeting in Mogadishu.

The speaker of federal government Mohamed Sheikh Osman Jawari announcing the motion said 153MPs voted in favour of the motion, 80rejected while 2 members abstained therefore PM lost his seat.

The speaker asked president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud to appoint prime minister within one month according to the constitution.
