Breaking: Somali pirates release 7 Indian sailors held captive four 4 years

Seven Indian sailors who were held hostage for four years in Harar Dhere of Mudug region were today released.

The sailors were immediately flown to Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia,They will be sent home to their home countries over the coming days.

The sailors, before their abduction were board of a ship released after the pirates after taking huge ransom and spent four years in the hands of pirates.

Our correspondent in Galgadud region Abdiweli Tohow says the release of Indian sailors came as a result of efforts made by Somalia interior ministry and the administration of Galgadud region.

Briefing the media at Dusa-Mareb airport, Galgadud governor Hussein Ali Whehliye Irfo confirmed the release of the sailors.
