BREAKING:Somali president visits Barawe district

Somali president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud leading delegates paid visit to Barawe district on Saturday after the joint forces captured the town last week.

The security of the district was tightened by federal government forces and AMISOM troops.

He is expected to have discussions with the local leaders, administration officials as well as residents of the area.

On Friday Somalia president today visited Adale town, in Middle Shabelle region to have a firsthand assessment of the situation in the area after the allied forces captured the town weeks ago.
