Cabinet Appoints New Spokesman

Somali Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid has picked today Abdislam Ato as the spokesman of Federal Government to succeed Ridwan Haji who resigned the job in the last July.

Abdislam is prominent member of Somali Diaspora who worked as filmmaker, producer and writer; he worked as Senior Strategic Communications Adviser To the current Somali Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid before he was appointed this post.

His predecessor Ridwan Haji Abdiwali resigned the post last month for what he called personal reasons.
