Car accident near Matabaan district injures seven

At least seven people were reportedly injured after car accident occurred in an area 10 KM to Matabaan district of Hiran region earlier on Thursday.

The wounded people were immediately rushed to Beledweyn general hospital for treatment.

The director of Beledweyn general hospital who was contacted by Goobjoog FM said most of the passengers sustained light injuries adding that the hospital is dealing with their cases seriously.

The road accidents in Somalia is attributed to rough roads that has not been maintained the last two decades and careless drivers.
