Clan militias dispute turns to deadly fight In Middle Shabelle region

At least five people have been confirmed dead and several others wounded following clashes between clan militia in Middle Shabelle region of Somalia.

The fight came after dispute over pasture and territory between two clan militias turned to deadly conflict.

The fight took place in Adale village 140 km from the administrative capital of Hirshabelle State, Jowhar.

Several wounded people arrived to the main Hospital of Jowhar for treatment.

Elders of region called immediate ceasefire between militias and preparations to diffuse the situation are going according to one of the elders in the region.
