Ahlu Sunna commander in Guriel joins federal forces

Reports from Galgadud region indicates that the commander of Ahlu Sunna Waljama’a in Guriel town has crossed over to the Somali federal government forces.

Ahlu Sunna’s commander, Abdul Dahir Roble Adde held a long meeting with the 15th Battalion commander Gen Masudud Mohamed Warsame after a long discussion with the government forces agreed to join the federal army.

The meeting between the 15th Battalion commander of the 21st Division forces and Commander Abdul Dahir Roble was also attended by Mohamed Ahmed Antobo, former governor of the Hodan district of Banadir region.

The commander of the Ahlu Sunna Waljama in charge of Guri El town arrived in Dhusamareb last night the capital of Galmudug state where he was received by government officials.

So far, there have been no reports from Ahlu Sunna leadership about the actions of the commander Abdullahi Dahir Rooble Adde.
