Commissioner for Hobyo location raises alarm on impending humanitarian crisis in the area

Local residents are on the verge of impending humanitarian crisis in the locality of Hobyo due to starvation and diseases.

Speaking to Goobjoog News, the Commissioner for Hobyo location Abdullahi Ahmed Faat cited many people died due to hunger and thirst when they missed humanitarian help to save their lives.

He portrays a bleak picture about the lives of the local people in Hobyo and its surrounding locations though some people are already left for better towns.

The Commissioner for the coastal town mentioned the devastating drought affected the area which is beyond human comprehension in many locations in Mudug reion.
