Construction Work Started At a New Airport in Barawe

Engineers has arrived in Barawe and started measuring exercise in the southern side of the town to construct a new airport for the town, which is designated to be the administrative capital of South West State of Somalia.

According to the acting commissioner for Barawe Bashir Mohamed, the sea side airport will speed up the recovery and is a sign of bright future.

Engineers are also measuring roads linking the airport to the town.
