Defense Minister Visits IDP Camp in Guri El

Somalia Federal Government defense minister Jeneral Abdikadir Sheik Ali Dini has toured IDP camp near Guri El where they sought refuge during the fighting between government forces and Ahlu Sunna Wal Jamah fighters.

The minister chatted with the IDPs and enquired about the situation in the camp, they apparently told him about their plight and misery.

He promised that he would try his best to facilitate them to go back to their houses in Guri El and that he would prevent more fighting that would displace them again.

The minister was in the region for mediation efforts between the warring sides. He helped to facilitate a peace
