Dhusamareeb airport upgraded

Dhusamareeb airport was yesterday reopened after it has undergone a major upgrading which took months.

The administrations of town and traditional elders have attended the airport reopening ceremony which place at the airport.

The renovation project was implemented by Somali people who live in the region and outside Somalia.

The projects is estimated to cost more than a Million, becoming the biggest project which is implemented in Dhusamareeb town since the collapse of Somalia’s powerful regime in early 1990s.

According to the administration of the town, the airport will speed up the recovery and is a sign of bright future.
