Elders concerned about the arrest of Hamar-weyne district commissioner

Some of the elders in Hamar-weyn of Benadir region showed their apprehension over the arrest of the district commissioner of that district Abdikadir Mohamed Abdikadir after he was accused mismanaging of food aid distributed in his district.
The elders who took meeting in Hamar-weyne district stated jointly that his innocence over the allegations and described him hardworking and patriotic person.
On the other hand Mr. Abdikadir who was released on Sunday told the media that the security forces of the government hurried on his apprehend without further probe which violated his rights as a citizen.
This comes after food aid intended to distribute to the disables living in Hamar-weyne was seeing on sale in some of the markets in Mogadishu which later on resulted the arrest of the commissioner.
