Elders in Kismayo Complain of IGAD Handling of Jubbaland Assembly Selection

Some traditional elders in Kismayo have complained of IGAD about its handling of Jubbaland Assembly selection process.
Elder Noor Farah Abdi has told Goobjoog that IGAD is pressuring them and even sometimes intimidating them if they don’t endorse certain things favorable to them.
He threatened to withdraw from the selection process if the intimidation is not stopped.
He didn’t divulge more details about what exactly he is complaining about and the things IGAD would like to be done.
