Explosion in Mogadishu targets University lecturer

Heavy explosion occurred at the Makka Al-Mukarama road earlier on Wednesday, the explosion targeted with a lecturers of one of the Universities in the capital Mogadishu occurred near Taleeh road.

Reports confirm that explosive devices fitted into the car of the lecturer blew up, the lecturer sustained injuries. No other casualties reported.

He was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital for treatment.

The security forces reached the scene after the explosion and investigations are underway.
