Explosions hit CCTV cameras in Mogadishu

Some of the hidden CCTV cameras on the streets were targeted with explosives at 5 am on Thursday in Mogadishu. The targeted cameras were specifically searched for traffic, location and identification of vehicles movement.

At least 4 main CCTV cameras have hit by explosions at once in Mogadishu, 3 of the cameras targeted locate near Dabka junction, and a 4th one close to Maka Al-Mukarama Hotel. Some of the government’s security cameras planted on the street meant and intended to monitor for security activities in the capital.

Residents woke up early this morning to five explosions and attacked some of the government’s security cameras. There are no reports from the Security officials about the bombings targeting the hidden cameras.
