Federal government opens conference on new deal in Mogadishu

The deputy prime minister and religious affairs minister of federal government of Somalia Ridwan Hersi Mohamed accompanied by other government officials opened conference that will focus on federalism, new deal, the upcoming elections in the country 2016 and promotion of higher education in the country on Monday.

This meeting will be implemented by federal government of Somalia in collaboration with EKSO, an Arab league organization

The minister for culture and higher education of federal government Duale Adan Mohamed speaking during the opening of the seminar said the meeting has special significance to Somali people adding that experts from Arab league will be taking part in the meeting.

The Minister also praised the tireless efforts of EKSO that has made possible the opening of this important meeting to Somali community.

The deputy prime minister Ridwan Hersi Mohamed who opened the conference today said the meeting will produce fruitful outcome and encouraged the participants to share their ideas in a constructive way.

The seminar is scheduled to continue for three days.
