FGS has deployed new military forces between Mogadishu, Afgoye road

The Somali federal government has made significant changes to the stabilization forces in the long runway between Mogadishu and Afgoye.

New military forces were deployed to all the strongholds between Mogadishu and Afgooye, to take control of the main road that links Mogadishu and Afgoye.

Lafoole local community leader Mukhtar Noor Geesey gave an interview to Goobjoog News, said: “that the new military deployed to the area are well disciplined and ready to work with the public and their authorities.”

He pointed out the new military have destructed many defences barriers of the former army, and the people of the area have welcomed the action.

“We welcome the new military deployed to the area, we have been brought well disciplined and experienced military forces, along with experienced officers of military service, “said Mukhtar.

President Mohammed Abdullahi Mohamed Farmajo recently announced that the opening of the streets of Mogadishu and facilitate the public movement.
