Foreign medics and their centres must be registered with us says Ministry of Health

The federal Ministry of Health 4 days ago released a decree directed at foreign medical staff and their health centres to register with the ministry in order to assess the quality of their education and the services they offer.

The official statement from the health ministry clearly indicated the mandatory of the move for the foreign medical staff working in Banadir region and its environs to register with the ministry within a period of one month following the release of the decree.

The ruling also affects the new ones stating that they need to register with the ministry before they travel into the country.

The requirements needed for the registration process include a CV, medical certificate, a recommendation letter from a Medical Board, passport copies and letter of Good Conduct.
