Galmudug and Puntland elders visit locations in Mudug region

Traditional elders from the nieghbouring regional states of Glmudug and Puntland started visiting Mudug region lying inside the latter state.

Locations targeted for the visit are usual hot spots for local conflicts between herders in the countryside.

The elders visited some locations among them Sarjimale and others that the peacemakers are heading to in order to lessen tensions and pave way for reconciliations for long lasting peace in the region.

It was recently when Galmudug administration complained that Puntland side was reluctant to implement peace articles agreed upon earlier.
