Galmudug President appoints new governor for Mudug Province

The President of Galmudug state Abdikarim Hussein Guleid has appointed a new governor for Mudug region.

In a directive released from the office of the President, Abdirashid Hashi Artan has been appointed as the new governor of the region.

The new governor is expected to replace outgoing Mudug governor who has been in office since former administration.

The directive also named Andi Hussein Sheikh Ahmed as the deputy governor of Mudug region.
