Galmudug president dissolves Galkaayo town council

Galmudug president Abdikarim Hussein Guleed has dissolved Galkaayo town council last night.

In a statement issued by the office of the president, sends the councilors who worked with former of the former president Abdi Qaybdid, in an attempt to pave way for new faces in the town council house.

Sources say the president also fired Mudug governor Aweys Ali Saeed.

Somalia’s youngest regional state, Galmudug is carrying out initiatives to extend its administration throughout its region.
