Galmudug president hold talks with Ethiopian foreign minister

Galmudug president Abdikarin Hussein Guled has led a delegation to Ethiopia after receiving official invitation from Ethiopian government.

The leader and the Ethiopian foreign minister, Tedros Adhanom discussed on enhancing the bilateral ties between the two sides.

The discussion which lasted for hours ended with mutual understanding of the issue raised during the meeting.

President Abdikarim who spoke to media said that his discussion with the minister was based on the concern issues and common interest issues.

“During our discussions we agreed to not only enhance the existing friendly relations between Ethiopia and Galmudug state but to start implementation of various agreements” said president of Galmudug state.

“We not only discussed but agreed that the sides start immediate facilitation on security cooperation,” he said.

Galmudug President paid a visit to Ethiopia where he met with Ethiopian officials from the ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defense, and Transport and discussed on bilateral relations with the aim of strengthening ties between Galmudug state and Ethiopia.
