Government forces and AMISOM apprehend dozens of suspects in Wadajir district

The federal government forces backed by African Union peace-keeping troops have launched dawn security operations in Wadajir on Thursday.
The house to house search conducted by government forces has affected all the suburbs of the district.
Dozens of people mostly youth were arrested during the operations as our correspondent in the area reports.
The operations started after Al-shabab members killed deputy wadajir district commissioner abdifatah on Wednesday.
Wadajir district commissioner reiterated that the security of the district is quite stable and the security forces vigilant to put to stop the security threats.
He called the public to collaborate with the security forces and give valuable tip-offs that will lead to promotion of security.
