Government soldier killed and injured another one in Mogadishu

A Somali soldier has shot dead a civilian and injured another at the Traffic Crossing compound in Hodan district of Banadir region. Witnesses said that the errant soldier and a civilian died in the first argument in seconds, but later he was shot.

Reports indicate that the gunman quickly escaped from the scene at where a police officer opened fire which resulted in the death of the deceased and women injured.

In Mogadishu, Somali government forces carry out deadly attacks on civilians and drivers who drive motorcycles for misunderstanding and road policy issues.
