Gov’t force killed Al-Shabaab suspect in operation

Jubbaland regional state security forces killed Al-Shabab member in Berhani district after the security forces launched an operation in the western part of Kismayo.

Jubbaland Ministry of Security spokesman Abdinur Ibrahim said “the operation against al- Shabab took place in Berhane, a suburb of Labi-Kus in the capital Kismayo”.The spokesman also said that the operation carried out by the security forces recovered Ak-47 belonging to the slain Al-Shabaab member in the Jubaland regional state.

Al-Shabab carries out several attacks including Bombing and targeted individuals killings in which they claim of government spy, worker, support and pay tax to the Jubaland regional government.
