Govt’ soldiers fire at ambulance killing relative of deceased en route for burial

Government soldiers shot at an ambulance transporting a deceased man for burial killing one of the family members aboard the vehicle Daynile district in Mogadishu, relatives said.

Relatives of the deceased told Goobjoog News the soldiers fired at the ambulance along Taraqa iyo Sigaarka road in Daynile district injuring one of their kin identified as Ahmednur Hassan Hussein. The victim was rushed to Digfer hospital where he succumbed to injuries.

Pictures from the scene showed gunshots on the ambulance and blood stained surface inside the vehicle. Some of the images are too graphic to be published.

The bodies of the two were later taken to Medina hospital as the family said they would demand justice before burying their loved ones.
