Heavy fighting between SNA and Al-Shabab in Bakool claims five

At least seven people have been confirmed died and several others sustained after Al-Shabab suspected fighters attacked Somali National Army military base in the outskirt of Wajid town prompting fighting hours of fighting.
Reports say that the fight started after Al-Shabab attacked on military bases controlled by government troops situated outside Wajid town.
SNA commander in Bakool regions, Col. Abdurahman Tima’adde said that they have killed five Al-Shabaab members in the raid.
“The fighting embarked after Al-Shabab fighters attacked the town but they met with antagonistic resistance from Somali National Army in the base and they were driven back” he said.
On the other hand Al-Shabab has not yet commented on the clashes and it causalities.
The situation is calm and things returned back to normal after the battle between government troops and Al-Shabaab subsided.
