Heavy Rains in northern Somalia kill over 1500 Goats

Over 1500 goats have been killed in several hours of downpour in parts Of  Somaliland on Tuesday night.

The torrential rains which pounded much of Dollow valley near coastal town of Barbera had caused floods and damaged property.

The owners of the goats, have displayed the corpses of the goats to the local media on early hours of Wednesday.

‘I have lost 50 of my goats, which is half of my goats. They are all lying here as you can see. I believe the fate’ said Mohammed Ahmed, who was talking to local media.

The resident of the Dollow valley are afraid of more rain downpours in the area.
